Background: Diabetes mellitus type 2 (DMT2) is the most common of diabetes and affects more than 90% people with diabetes. Increasing age causes changes in carbohydrate metabolism insulin release, which influenced by blood sugar inhibits release into cells because it insulin. The risk increases age, especially at 40 years above. It happens increase intolerance aged above.Objectives: This study aims to determine description serum creatinine levels patients above.Methods: research design cross-sectional inclusion criteria, namely DMT2 above, conducting examinations Prodia clinical laboratory, Banda Aceh branch, from January May 2022. Samples were taken accidental sampling, totaling 59 people. Data collected interview laboratory examination measure using automatic analyzer method. reference value for men 0,7-1,3 mg/dl women 0,6-1,1 mg/dl. analysis was done descriptively.Results: above predominantly male (55,9%), frequency based on range mainly between 56-65 (37,3%). As many as 16,9% over had increased levels, although there also 83,1% normal levels.Conclusion: are dominant compared women; do not show such a high value.
